About Craftolog'y
Craftolog’y is a San Jose-based, one-woman-owned creative venture, bringing people together through hands-on, immersive workshops. The name comes from "Craft Catalog", a space filled with endless creative possibilities, with the "Y" representing Yean, the founder behind it.
What began in June 2023 as a passion for crafting and gathering has blossomed into a mobile workshop experience across the Bay Area. Specializing in unique candle, perfumery, and natural body care making, each workshop blends artistry with tradition, inspired by Korean craftsmanship and backed by certifications from various Korean craft associations.
While Craftolog’y pops up at local venues, most workshops are held in a cozy, homey setting (living room), offering an intimate, relaxed atmosphere. And if you’d rather craft in your own space, we can bring the experience to you!
Here, it's not just about what you make; it's about the joy of the process. A space to create, experimenting, learning, and sharing ideas. Think of it as a relaxed, fun space where you can craft something totally unique while hanging out with like-minded people. Let's craft something meaningful together!
The Heart Behind Craftolog'y

Hi! I’m Yean (pronounced as Yen), the founder of Craftolog'y and your craft instructor. I have a background in multimedia design and film production, and I spent several years working in the print industry. But after some time in the corporate world, I found myself wondering, “Is this truly the path I want to stay on?”
In late 2022, I took a leap of faith and decided to invest in myself, diving into the world of crafting. I enrolled in certified craft courses and quickly reconnected with my love for hands-on creativity. What began as a simple hobby soon grew into something much more, and that’s how Craftolog’y came to life.
I’m still learning every step of the way; not just in crafting, but in building a small business, connecting with people, and sharing what I love. It’s been an exciting journey so far, and I can’t wait to keep growing and creating together with all of you!
